CNC/CAM Programmer — Milling & Mill-Turning (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Creating and simulating machining programs in CAM, selecting optimal tooling, and defining the most efficient cutting parameters
Converting CNC programs into machine-specific format using post-processors
Verifying programs via simulation on a virtual machine at the programming station
Generating complete tool lists for tool presetting and tool measurement
Supporting machine operators when running in new programs and optimizing programs for repeat parts

Degree as Dipl.-Ing. / Master's in Mechanical Engineering, or Techniker/Meister (metal trades) with programming experience
Experience in CNC milling
Knowledge of CNC programming for Heidenhain controls
Experience with CAM systems
Strong 3D spatial reasoning
Careful, conscientious way of working
Strong team skills
Drive and strong communication skills
