Software and Analysis

The analysis suite behind every bench

Our analysis software, Magnetix Universal, gives you a comprehensive set of tools to evaluate your motor’s magnetic field. Every measurement becomes a clear result, checked automatically against the criteria and tolerances you set.

  • Multi-channel data acquisition
  • Rapid processing of large data sets
  • Detailed data evaluation
  • Graphical visualisation
  • Customised protocols
  • Adaptable criteria and tolerances
  • Database integration
  • Reliable archiving of results

What each evaluation criterion means

Selected criterion

Polarity

Polarity follows from the magnetic flux of each pole. Only when the poles alternate correctly and are evenly magnetised does a symmetrical magnetic field result — the precondition for even torque and for a motor that runs smoothly and with little vibration.

Analysis views

One measurement, multiple ways to read it

The test bench records the radial field over the full rotor. From that single recording the software derives every magnetic view below. With the optional optical 3D scanner, the same run also delivers the geometric views.

3D field map

The magnetic field of the rotor is measured over the full circumference. The result is a magnetic landscape whose map view lets a defect be located precisely.

We add new visualisations continuously. If the analysis or the view you need is not in this list, tell us what you want to see — we will build it into the software.
